FROM VICENZA WITH PRIDE

FOPE is an Italian brand. All our jewels are made in Italy with the Vicenza headquarters providing the hub of all the group’s activities. From a creative point of view, the art and the know-how typical of this territory represent a source of inspiration, a heritage from which to constantly draw. From here we can look out to the rest of the world with pride.

A FAMILY TRADITION

FOPE is first and foremost a family enterprise. Umberto Cazzola opened the initial goldsmith’s workshop in 1929 and three generations have followed in his footsteps. The original contribution of everyone has ultimately led to the company being listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, in what is the evolution of a successful development stretching over almost an entire century. And one that still continues.

INNOVATION ACROSS THE BOARD

A concept that might at first glance appear generic pervades every aspect of FOPE’s business, starting with the technology underlying all of its production. The resulting jewellery are of the highest quality; precious objects that often use the Flex’it system, a patented FOPE invention. The brand’s communication too has always been consistent and innovative.

ORIGINAL DESIGN

FOPE’s jewellery is born in Vicenza from a virtuous encounter between creativity and craftsmanship. The iconic Novecento mesh, in particular, characterises each collection through its clear and consistent stylistic identity. In addition to brand recognition, its signature design assures the longevity and versatility of each piece of jewellery.

SHARED SUSTAINABILITY

The company’s processes have traditionally always been geared towards sustainability, but in 2013 FOPE also decided to become a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council. From the following year, the company has acquired its certification for the first time and undergone a new audit every three years for renewal. In 2020, the company adopted a code of ethics listing principles and commitments, as well as defining relations with all stakeholders.

Product Development

From the concept and design stages to prototypes and their industrialisation, FOPE jewellery is conceived and manufactured in-house in the Vicenza factory. The R&D department is dedicated to the design of the flexible smooth mesh chains and to the creation of machines and robots used for their production.

Production

The family owning the company has always invested in product and process innovation, as well as in the direct supervision of the entire production chain, from raw material processing to finishing. Today, the traditional experience of master goldsmiths is combined with high-tech industrial applications, often the result of inventions developed in-house and protected by patents.

Commercial

FOPE sells its products directly to multi-brand jewellers located in about fifty countries in the world, without the intermediation of distributors. The structure is organised by market areas coordinated by the head office in Vicenza, where support and customer service activities are also managed.

Marketing and Communication

The strong recognisability of FOPE jewellery is also reflected in the brand’s omnichannel communication, which is planned and realised in the brand’s HQs in Vicenza. This is also where the coordination of image promotion in the various markets takes place, thanks to dedicated resources that directly oversee specific geographic areas to support the jewellers.

Logistics

With all jewellery produced in-house, shipping to individual retailers is also handled centrally from Vicenza to their locations worldwide. Any repairs and post-production interventions follow the same process, so as to provide the high-quality response that only the goldsmiths based in the FOPE factory can assure.

Administration, Finance and Control

Employees of FOPE S.p.A. handle the tax and administrative accounting of the group, including the subsidiaries, optimising the management of treasury and financial flows and supporting the CEO in the planning and control process cycle.

IT Systems

Information technology processes to support and protect the activities of the group’s companies are managed by resources located in the central office, along with the application activities for the development and maintenance of ERP management applications and the network and interconnection systems.
